SUMMARY:Missionfest Manitoba Conference 2026
DESCRIPTION:Missionfest Manitoba 2026 will be at Church of the Rock in Winnipeg from February 6th to 8th (2026)\, and our theme will be Who is this King of Glory? This is taken from Psalm 24. \nWe believe strongly that all missions\, in fact the whole Christian life\, is founded on who God is as revealed in Jesus Christ. We will be exploring some of the paradoxes in God’s character (such as His uncompromising righteousness and unfailing love) and how that all is essential in moving us to “declare and display Christ together”. \nThe earth is the LORD’s\, and the fullness thereof\, the world and those who dwell in it Ps. 24:1\nIn Thai\, the translation for “the LORD” is “the One who is the owner.” Again and again in the Bible\, we see these claims to God’s rightful ownership of everyone and everything because He is the One who created it all. When we come to a greater understanding of who this God of all creation is\, we will see this Mission of God as Good News. \nWe have a great slate of plenary speakers for Missionfest Manitoba 2026: Jason Mandryk (Operation World)\, Aaron Pierce (Steiger International and speaker at MFM ’24)\, Dr. Mary Ho (International Director for All Nations International) and Dr. Timothy Tennent (former President of Asbury College). Aaron Pierce will speak at After Hours\, and Danny MacKay will speak for the Youth Event. \nWe hope you’ll join us for Missionfest 2026\, February 6th to 8th at Church of the Rock in Winnipeg!

SUMMARY:2025 International Day of Prayer
DESCRIPTION:The 2025 International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church (IDOP) in Canada will be observed on Sunday\, November 2\, 2025. This day is dedicated to lifting up the persecuted Church and is a time for churches across Canada to come together in prayer for persecuted Christians. The theme for this year’s IDOP is “Unite in Prayer\,” and resources and updates will be available starting in September. Churches are invited to incorporate this important day of unified prayer\, disciple-making\, and witness into the life of their congregation and sphere of influence. \nFor those looking to participate\, the IDOP toolkit is available to help church groups pray for persecuted Christians. The toolkit includes resources to connect with persecuted families around the world\, such as Bibles\, resources\, training\, relief\, and more.
